Statement
|
Most of my work relates to my immediate environment, particularly my house and its view of Swansea Bay. My style fluctuates between being illustrative and abstract and often combines elements of both. I am interested in the Chaos Theory and the way in which shapes and rhythms constantly reoccur throughout nature and the universe ('Eternity in a grain of sand...')
I usually work in series, producing scores of variations on the same theme, often superimposing one drawing on top of another to achieve a layering effect and allowing in as much accident as possible.
