Biography
|
Holly Calica has been creating art for over 25 years, but is currently working with monoprints, etching and painting. She studied art at City College of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, University of California, Berkeley extension and the University of California, Irvine.

Statement
|
Art and spirit, as life and spirit, are inseparable for me. My art is reflective of the communities I interact with, nature around me, and the world politic through the repetition of colors, rhythm, texture and themes. In gratitude to my ancestors, the spirits and the creator, I make art.
