Biography

My name is Michael Johansson, and I'm autodidact artist on my leisure time. I'm residing in Lund, Sweden along with Jenny and I have five children. As ocupation I work as a nurse,wich is an exellent combination and inspiration for my artistic spare time. For a long time I've been interested by the soul and it's origin. Since creativity always was a leading star in my life, I early realized that creative work promote spiritual development. Earlier I worked a lot with leather- and woodhandicraft, and now in the connection with the meating with my soulmate Jenny, I have resumed the artistic path painting.

Statement

Chiefly I work in acrylic or oil, since those medium best express my artistic opinion. Inspiration I find mostly in my innermost. Motive which describes fragment and environment from our spiritual original.
The guiding-star in my paintings is to lightning up our innermost. Motives which gives us a deep meaning. A deep which makes us stop and look inside ourselves and reflect the meaning or our lives.
My art shall give reflection without an insight into the time surrounding the moment. My art shall invite to a dialogue between the painting and yourself.
