As a child, Kajsa Flinkfeldt was constantly occupied with a pencil and a sketch book. Her favourite motive was angels, and she drew them in every shape and form. As the years went by, her interest in art increased, and after ninth grade she spent two years at a school that would preapare her for a future career in the field of art. At the age of eighteen, Kajsa wanted to see the world, and she went to San Antonio, Texas, as an exchange student. As A High School senior, she had the privilege to take several Art classes where she would learn about painting with acrylics and Berol Prisma Color pencils. She also recieved numerous of awards for her art.
The following years Kajsa painted a lot of pets and children, all commissioned work. In 1995 she enrolled at the Umea Univerity, Sweden, and later she received her Bachelor in Fine Arts diploma.
Kajsa is now working full time teaching art to students aged 13-15. From time to time she does work on free-lance basis for various associations and magazines. Coming from a family with artistic genes, her mother is an illustrator and her sister is a graphic designer, Kajsa is encourraged to persue her dream: to become a full time illustrator.
