Biography
|
I started painting and taught myself to paint with oils, in 1990. Did not do any art courses, but only a Technical Certificate, as I am a professional Draftsmen. Mediums I use are mainly oils, watercolour and also do ink drawings of wild animals on sepia.
Not only do I paint animals, but birds, landscapes and shipwrecks.

Statement
|
Living in South Africa and loving nature gives me the inspiration to paint wildlife animals, like the Big 5, especially the cat family. I use a lot of time for the detail of the eyes & faces. When finished, it's as if the animal must come to life when looking at it.
