Born Claude Charles Houde, in Montreal (Quebec, Canada)in 1958, he graduated from College Andre Grasset. Already, in 1975, he let go of previous influences and created his own personal style, using his medium of choice: acrylic.
The transparence and hues of his subjects, the delicate blending nuances, the subtlety of the lines suggesting us to discover what is beyond the painting, all indispensable to the integrity of his art.
