Statement
|
The image has to have a monumental impact. All unnecessary details are left out. I find my subjects in the ordinariness of a.o. human figures. I isolate them from their surroundings. They are anonymous, yet very individual. The images can be powerful, yet very still. Light and composition play an important part in my paintings.
