Stephenie Zentara

Biography
|
Throughout her childhood and adolescence, Stephenie Zentara demonstrated a passion for the arts. From doodling with crayons as a toddler to engaging in painting, ceramics, and theatre in high school, artistic expression has always fueled her creative appetite.
During college, art took a back seat to her thirst for scientific knowledge. Stephenie yearned for a fulfilling career that would enable her to enrich the lives of others. She graduated with a degree in biology and embarked on a journey that led her to a continuing career in the pharmaceutical
industry. However, her creative spirit was left unsatisfied.
After marrying her soul mate and best friend, John, in 2004, Stephenie fulfilled her desire to travel internationally. During trips to Azores, England, Holland, Mexico, and Italy, she rekindled her
creative calling and fell in love with the artistic empowerment of photography.
As a self taught photographer, Stephenie enjoys capturing traditional images during her travels. Recently, she decided to break out of her comfort zone and pursue abstract photography by
focusing on the magic created by infusing light with color and movement. Stephenie's photography serves as a mechanism to capture wondrous and unique images frozen in time. She hopes that her work will inspire the creativity and imagination of its viewers.

Statement
|
Throughout my life, I have been inspired by the ambiance and reflective solace induced by color and light. I embarked on an artistic mission to represent everyday objects infused with color and motion in the form of abstract photography. Each of my photographs captures the essence of color and the splendor created by subtle movement. The intent of my abstract work is to evoke an
atmosphere of beauty, wonder and curiosity.
One of my most memorable trips was to Tuscany Italy, which I shared with my husband, sister, and brother-in-law. I was enveloped by the architecture, lush landscapes, and vast vineyards. My desire is to capture the tranquility and brilliance of Tuscany for years to come.
My husband, John and I are passionate about traveling to locations of historic mystique. We enjoy being submersed in the sense of wonder and mystery exuded by ancient ruins. My hope is that the historical prevalence of the ancient sites will take the viewer on a magical journey through time.
