Biography
I graduated with honors from U Mass Amherst in 1983, with a BA in sociology. After several years as a social worker I began a 20 year career as a massage therapist and healer. I taught classes and created Avon Massage Therapy Center which I sold after 15 years in order to pursue a full time career as an artist. I have had many watercolor teachers and currently study with Laura Eden. I am a member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society, Avon Arts Association, Artwell Gallery, Farmington Valley Arts Center and New Hartford Art League.

Statement
My artistic passion awakened while painting with my young daughter. Once it started, the burning passion to paint took over. I paint watercolor landscapes of nature, wildlife, oceans, flowers, farms and all that I find beautiful. My paintings have been shown all over Connecticut, and my note cards are selling in three U.S. states, and Anguilla. I've been in many group, juried, and solo shows. I am now teaching what I have loved learning. I have discovered what I want to be when I grow up!
