Tim Buffaloe

Biography
Tim Buffaloe was born in the District of Columbia and studied art early on in Junior High. In High School he participated in summer internships affording him the opportunity to study with well known natural science and scientific illustrators. He was certified by the Federal Governments Office of Personnel Management at age 18 and received a ranking as a scientific illustrator. After marrying and having children, he toured briefly with Black Heritage Arts Exhibition where he showcased his carbon dust renderings and natural media illustrations. He created a print series that he branded Illustar, The Illustrator's Series, which is a series of highly detailed images of varying subject matter with the focus of creating commemorative of historical events, persons and celebrities. Other renderings in the series included nature studies and digital graphics. Early in his life, he recognized that he had developed another passion besides illustration and now devotes his time as a Certified Field Chaplain involved in community outreach and supports. Commonly referred to as Chap. T, Tim Buffaloe uses his illustration to create support outlets for outreach projects across the region.

Statement
They say, "A picture is worth a thousand words." In my opinion illustration best defines how we render life's creative spark. I like to capture those moments in life that have meaning and profound impact!
