SCRIVO ? Non Configuration Painter ?
(alias for DE SCHRIJVER Arsene, Joseph), Borsbeke 1942-Flanders-Belgium.
As a painter, Scrivo is part of the group of artists who express their emotions in a direct, artistic language. His paintings are the expression of his emotions at a particular moment. It is a spontaneous eruption of his complex mind. With his quick nervous brushes, sometimes eager, sometimes peacefull, he tells about tenderness, warmth and music with his bright colours. Sometimes it is also a cry as a reaction to events that have hurt him. For the artist, this is the only and just way to spread his message and let the people know his vision.
About his `Life's different roads' works, he says : `These paintings are all made for the pure pleasure of painting. Whilest painting them, I forget time and my only communication is with the lines I paint. I want to give life to this line so it can exists on its own and travel through my painting while it expresses my emotions at that moment of time. To me the line is the God of painting. I want to put it on a throne for this painting".
Scrivo's works of art are at show in the A.M.V.B. in Brussels, the museum of Warsaw, the Ministery of French Culture, Ajuntament de Valdemossa-Mallorca-Espana, Museo de Antioquia-Medelin- Colombia, K.B.W.B. Brussels.
