The branches and twigs contain hundreds of multi-colored tiny glass fringe beads. Each bead is interwoven with the wire giving the structure of the tree a more natural look. The tree, and a very interesting piece of driftwood, are mounted on various size and shaped pieces of blue stained glass. All is bound together in sand and pebbles. The sand is painted using India ink to look like moss. The overall piece has the feel of a tropical island set in the center of a deep blue ocean. When the sculpture is displayed in direct sunlight or very bright lights,
the piece is ablaze with reflective color.

16"h X 13"w X 12"d. Created with 18, 20, 26 gauge galvanized steel wire. The end of each wire is then hammered flat to form the shape of a small leaf. The hundreds of leaves are hand painted in enamel paint using yellows, golds and reds to create a "fire" of Autumn colors. Two antique clay brick pieces are used to visually stabilize the tree structure into a dark green rectangular glazed ceramic container. The tree is planted into a lawn of sea sand and pebbles which are painted with India ink to give the appearance of moss covered earth.

Wire tree sculpture with 218 genuine Jade leaves of various sizes. Some of the jade leaves are flat and others have a slight upward turn at the tip. Each leaf is individually wired onto its branch using a unique method developed by Sal Villano expressly for this type of sculpture. There are no holes in any of the leaves so they appear very natural in their position on the end of each twig. The tree is created using 18, 24 and 26 gauge gold color wire. The roots of the tree are bound into a sand and pebble mound that is painted in greens and yellows using India ink to create the image of moss. The sculpture is in a 7" round metallic ceramic bowl and is permanently fixed to the dark wood 5 legged elevation base. This sculpture can be displayed in direct sunlight since all the coloring and material used are light fast, and will not fade. #8-07 $1,985.00

138 pages, 400 Photos and Drawings, Step by Step Detailed Instructions,
Complete Tool & Material Lists.
The book is offered as a PRINTED or DOWNLOAD eBOOK - It's 138 pages and is the result of more than three years of work. My inspiration for writing my third book on the subject of creating wire trees and other art pieces using wire, came to me while showing my work at many art and craft shows, and in art galleries. Interested people would ask me how I got started, and, some people, who were really interested in my work, said I should write a book showing how I create my tree sculpture. I have taken great care in creating this third book, not only adding many more different types of sculpture, but also adding many extras I think the reader will find very helpful. I not only explain and illustrate for you, how to create each piece, I also show or explain how to use a basic item to create many more variations of each item. 138 pages, 8.5 X 11 inches with over 400 photos and illustrations. This book includes all the tree sculpture from my third edition book HOW TO CREATE BEADED AND WIRE TREE SCULPTURE and most of the pieces shown on my website. Plus, based on my over 30 years of creating and showing my work, I have added many pages I have called EXTRAS. These extras will help you with many different topics, such as: Photography, Pricing and Shipping your work, Accepting commissions, Art and craft shows, Consigning your work, and many more. Wire Tree Sculpture,
by Sal Villano

This is my largest wire tree sculpture 28"wide x 23"high x 24"deep. This magnificent wind swept tree sculpture is created using 18, 20, 26 and 28 gauge steel wire. The wire used is not galvanized so it has oxidized (rusted) giving the sculpture an amazingly realistic weathered appearance. The tenacity of this tree is emphasized by its massive root system firmly planted into a base of sand, rocks and pebbles bound onto a 1 inch thick slab of slate. The sand and pebbles are painted in yellows and greens, using India ink, giving the appearance of moss covered earth. #18-07 $ 1,350.00
