This is the last available painting from Tara Hutton's Hawaiian Art Deco Collection

"Olivia"

Fashion Photography Was The
Inspiration For This Painting.
Mysterious, Aloof, Haunting, Unapproachable, Unattainable....that was what I was trying to depict in this painting. I Wanted 'Olivia' To Capture
The Essence Of A Dior Fashion
Model Circa The Mid-1950's.

"Redhead"

'Redhead' Would Be Right At Home In A Gothic Gallery. Yet, Because Of The Geometric Elements In This Painting she remains true to my eternal love for Art Deco.

paintings is women but every now and
then I like to add a man to my portfolio.

With each new painting I try to bring in something new with 'Rico' it was an extensive use of a color I had been avoiding for years - 'red'!

The faces are smooth while the geometric shapes in the background are textured. To achieve the textured effect I used pumice gel. Original painting signed by Artist Tara Hutton.

I wanted to evoke the warmth, energy and vibrance of my favorite season of the year - Summer!
Painting 'Spirit of Summer' was a departure for me because most of my artwork is painted using a well thought out and limited color pallette. To create this painting that incorporates so many colors and shades proved to be a new and joyful experience.
