This piece is simply - and I must confess - one of my childish imaginations of something that we don't have here, just as in other tropical countries...snow! When I was a child, I imagined snow particles coming down from the sky during the hot and humid summers. I wondered if it's true and there's really snow here. I wish.

"A Shower of Daylight," is about enlightening one's troubled spirit. Light is of God and in that sense is divine and could be our strong guide to the right path towards life. "Let your light so shine," said the Lord. Let's make it reign.

But there's always hope for tomorrow and I would like
this very simple piece to serve as a reminder for us all that after a day of life's tests, truly there is hope and peace to follow. It's true, pain is always inevitable, but misery is optional.

Cold Waters

This painting of a cascade is a common scene found here in the region. The piece, which shows two small but beautiful waterfalls, for me is a metaphor for friendship and helping hand. I believe we are all sons and daughters of one loving God, regardless of our races and the languages we speak. And because of that I know we could be like the Good Samaritan to all or just simply become as cold waters to a thirsty soul, without worrying who gets the credit.

This painting is actually a view from one of the private rice fields
in the province of Chaong, Quezon. My friends and I used to hang out
under the shade of those trees during summer.
There the air is fresh and we love to be away from the
noise and the vastness of the city.

This painting is actually a scene from a dream I had a long time ago.
I have decided to paint it to permanently record the very simple yet powerful lesson
I've learned form that dream. For me the dream wanted to teach
me to be patient. I'm still paddling my way to my potential and
I know time will come that I will make it to the sea
where the greatest adventure will begun.

This piece, which talks about the "horizon", is all about stepping up
and reaching out one's greatest potential.
The sky is waiting for us to spread our wings
and fly-above the horizon.

Just for the love of music. Music has been a very
big part of my life. It motivates me, uplifts me and sustain me.
