Each series is based on experiments conducted on still images. All are questions on the application of texture and how the software interprets it.
I normally work on several series simultaneously with the refinement process occurring at it's own pace. Each piece is done when it's done. Most often there is a high resolution source image that I have created to serve as the "seed" for each composition. This seeder image is applied to the framework in the composition created by insanely complex mathematics.
My focus is more on generating an emotional response from my viewers than recording the world around me or making social or political statements. Thankfully there are more than enough talented artists eager to tackle that responsibility.
