My Still Life work is meant to promote feelings of abundance and joy while capturing pieces which are historic, timeless, and also of our current time period. some of the pieces captured in these still lifes are hand made items from artist of pottery and glasswork and I believe are a great means of permenantly capturing some great pieces to be appreciated for many years to come. I like the use of oils as they are a bit more complicated than that of some more modern color media and take longer to dry causing me to really take my time with each piece. I also love to draw graphite portraits and am always looking for new subjects, these portraits come easily for me and are meant to compliment each subject, my desire is to capture the beauty of each individual in a simplistic form. I would greatly enjoy any commissioned projects of this type.
