Between the ages of 10 and 13 is when I discovered any artistic skill I had. At that time I would have considered myself a human copy machine. I could mimic any cartoon style picture I looked at increasing or decreasing the size as need while still maintaining accuracy. When I moved from New York to Florida I began to stray away from drawing and let it fade away. Periodically I would use my abilities for school project purposes but never really got into it as heavy as I had been. My senior year of high school I joined the school newspaper where I was one of the staff artists with the responsibility of drawing little cartoons relating to the stories written. I also had my own monthly cartoon called "It Could Happen". Once I finished with high school , art took a back seat again till recently. I have no knowledge of painting or anything related to painting but decided to try it out for the first time ever to be given as a gift to a close friend. The style is actually a doodle I normally do on paper but after doing it on the back of a business card I realized it may look good in a larger scale and in various colors. The actual focus of the painting is that the line that separates the 2 colors is one continuous line. If you begin at one pint and follow it, it will return to that exact point. The shapes and images are usually random but as I create new paintings I try to incorporate images within it. I have noticed that every person that views my painting see their own images within them based on the subconscious personalities. Always being different for each person, a kind of Worshok Test.
