I am a modern Russian artist. Graduate of the Stroganov College. Recently, I became interested in a new trend in contemporary art called upcycling (from the English "upcycling", i.e. the reuse of materials and things and giving them new functionality.which involves the transformation of old, outdated goods and things into new art objects.) Upcycling as a way to create works of art is primarily an alternative to traditional art forms. Modern society has become addicted to consumerism, unaware that the planet's resources are finite. My concept is that objects that are not recycled for various reasons can be used to create works of art, giving them a second life and turning them into a functional product, a decorative item in a modern interior. As a material for my work, I use everything that a person has stopped using and has simply become useless to anyone, but it has become in demand for me to create another object or installation.
