I have over 15 years experience as a freelance artist in a wide variety of mediums. I have done mural work, fine art consignment, album covers, portraits and window painting. I am currently doing local gallery shows, speaking engagements and tattooing.

The Artist's Statement
I am a self taught street artist with a troubled past from Salt Lake City Utah. I have traded a life full of pain, misery, depression and addiction for something with much more meaning and value to me.art
Never comprehending the complexities and contradictions of our society, coupled with various emotional and social problems, I turned to drugs and alcohol at a very young age. Even in the mist of this distancing obsession, nothing could give me the feeling art provided.
On October 22, 2004 I was arrested for a crime involving my drug activities, reaching a bottom of unbelievable proportions, having an Elementary School education at best, and no one who cared enough to continue discouraging my daydreams, I made myself a promise.I will give it all up in order to live in a way I understand and find worthy, I will become a professional artist!
I spent five years straight behind those bars, went through an intensive fourteen month drug rehabilitation program, learning how to read at an adult level, earning my G.E.D., High School diploma and my Associates General education. Depending on educational demands, I spent my days drawing eight to sixteen hours a day, in bad light, under the scrutiny of many uncivilized and ignorant people, combined with the constant threat of hundreds of hour's worth of work being destroyed in a search, or confiscated (robbed) by officers. Never having the opportunity to buy or be given proper supplies and even when acquiring the basics, having them taken for no justified reason. I did this in a desperate attempt not to be forced back into a life once lived...
Every piece that survived, is displayed here as testament to my five year journey and the rigorous trek to come. May you find some enjoyment in them.
My Dream
One day I will provide for myself and my family with nothing more than my creative work and my lifelong habit of daydreaming. One day my vision, hard work and ability to persevere will be recognized as valuable. I hope one day in some small way my life's work will benefit others, if for no other reason than to serve as a reminder that life can be transformed. That the impossible can happen and a life can be lived from the inner voice; that being different and OK, simultaneously is possible.and more important than the opinions of others.
We all struggle with obstacles, I have not yet glimpsed the finish line, nor do I even know one exists. However, today I choose to dash harder than ever.It is my greatest hope you choose to run with your dreams as well!!!
