Biography

My name is Steve Khan and I am a visual artist. I am in my final year of the joint Art and Art History program at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College. I am originally from Vancouver, but have lived in many places across Canada, including most recently, Mississauga.

Statement
|
|
I strive to document the imagery I see in my head. Through the experiences in my life I feel that I am learning more as an artist and as a person. I am inspired by representations that depict emotion. And, I am fascinated by the human figure, especially faces. I feel that a work is successful if it can move my viewer. I feel that I am capturing a little bit of myself in each work. As I develop my skills, I feel more confident in my ability to represent the world inside my mind.
