Len Yurovsky is a Russian/American fine artist based between Rome, Paris and Miami Florida.
He works mainly in acrylic on canvas but also has worked extensively in oils in the past
His style is very unique- working within abstract expressionism with a vitality of specific realism. His use and balance of vibrant colour is distinctive and original.
Len is the painter with the unique original handwriting. Red, blue, yellows, large dark masses and the luminous planes of the vividly burning color.
Len's father was a prolific landscape artist, Yuri Yurovsky working in Kiev from the 50's through to the 70's. Yuri has succeeded in passing on his innovative techniques, including working 'plein air' and from life.
Len finds great inspiration from his travels in Italy, Paris and South of France, places he is passionate about. He intreprets the landscapes and cityscapes of Italy and France in particular, Rome, Paris, Portofino, Positano, Tuscany, Venice and many more; painting them, not just from what he sees, but what he feels inside with intense expressiveness, rhythm of color masses and large internal energy
Over the years, Len has many collectors mainly from USA,UK,Norway,Sweden,Ukraine and Spain, France, Ireland and many more.
