Statement

At the core of my work is a belief that in the end all things balance out harmoniously no matter how strange the journey. The joy is that by composing images, sometimes at random, something magical and unexpected happens. Beauty always arises when I keep moving forward. I hope that my compositions express the beauty of embracing life's journey and working towards harmony.

A Poem - Understanding Abstract Art
Art forms are as singular as stars scattered across the night sky, each one burning with its own quiet truth. For the artist, abstract art becomes a place of presence-a space to dwell fully in the moment and to release visions and emotions unbound by rule or expectation. I was once asked, "Where does the inspiration come from to create what you have never seen before?" The answer rose without hesitation: from within. In the hushed chambers of the mind, where inspiration gathers and improvisation moves like jazz, the abstract artist takes the helm of visual creation.
Emotion is born in the act itself-in the laying down of color, in its reworking, and in the forms that reveal themselves by accident. Through layered forms, the artist uncovers layers of self, discovering what freedom feels like. Color, line, and texture are only the surface language of an abstract work; beneath them lives a deeper force, one that is at once profound and beautifully simple.
It is the joy of making, a reverence for the present moment, and an awareness of the soul's longing to move and breathe through form. This freedom-akin to the freedom of a child-emerges effortlessly, carrying the artist to a place where time loosens its grip and understanding is no longer required. The playful inner child awakens through discovery, both hidden and revealed. From this innocence, this essential state of being, abstract art is born-when the artist is truly free to create.
