Biography

Wendy was born in Southern California on March 2, 1974. From a very young age, Wendy was drawn into the world of art. She dabbled with classes in Jr. High and high school, but it wasn't't until she started to win art contests that she thought seriously about making a career of art.
During her university years, she refined and expanded her skills on her own. She decided not to major in art so that her passion and style would stay fresh and uncontrived. Wendy did receive a B.A. in English and M.A. in Education from Pepperdine University. Today, along with running her art business, she is a high school art teacher, where she helps guide the artists of tomorrow. Being a high school teacher, Wendy understands the importance of her presence as a role model to young adults. "I want my art to bring beauty, reflection, mystery and contemplation to people's lives. The gift I have been given by God should be used for bettering those around me."
In August of 2003, Wendy married her soul mate Brian in an outdoor evening garden wedding, complete with her very own faery flower girl. Today she paints out of her home in Rancho Santa Margarita, where she lives with her husband and her little dog, Woolfgang.
Wendy's favorite medium is watercolor, to which she adds her own personal, ethereal touch.
Wendy specializes in breathing life into your personal picture and turning it into a true work of art.

I see art and mystery in the world, which I try to express through my paintings. Painting is like breathing for me, I require both for living.
