Description:
I used this old picture of my mother as a child as reference for this painting. The idea was to paint the photograph as a photograph and then work on it as we at times destroy photographs by drawing over them. Thus the image of the boy made out of lipstick appeared. The facial expression were paid attention to in respect to the title of this piece.
