I met this young Quechua girl on a trip to the city of Cuzco Peru. Dressed in the traditional bright colored clothing and with her hair in two long braids, she carried her little lamb through the cobblestone streets of the ancient Incan capital begging with her eyes for any spare change from the passersby. Many indigenous people in Peru have resorted to panhandling for a menial income.
