Statement
|
"The work is the final outcome of creative progress determined in advance. My work has not been about the least condition of art but about the necessary condition of art. I will always try to have in my work only what is necessary to it "
Carl Andre (1935 ~ America)
My work is identified a certain way of documenting an individual point-of-view, metaphor and interpretation of image of thought derived from a sequence of diverse visual fragments, not necessarily peculiar but rather ordinary that I encounter at various occasions in daily life. I draw out a voice to get a sense of the nuance in developing my artistic, poetic and visual languages, embody with necessary visual elements, and refine them to the substance.
My endeavor in creating artwork results from infinite yearning for the beautiful shock of the `new' and the quest for another type of beauty, through simple expression of complex thought along with essential aesthetic and intellectual values.
