Biography
|
Meg is a Professor of Graphic Design and Artist who uses the computer as an artistic tool. She enjoys working with her own photography and works often in abstract style. She creates most of her digital art using Photoshop. Occasionally when the need to get off her computer occurs, she will take out her oils and paint. She will often incorporate her sketches or paintings in her digital pieces. Meg's skills include graphic design, website design, digital photography, and painting. She enjoys working with Photoshop to restore old photographs or to create digital artwork for web or print. Meg has been teaching a three-credit course she developed in Digital Photo Art and will offer it as a Distance Learning Class starting the spring of 2005.

Statement

I have been creating digital art for several years and often prefer this over painting. Photoshop is an ideal tool for creative expression. Most often nature and travel provide inspiration for my art.
