Biography
|
I picked interest in art in secondary school Saint Gregory's College, Obalende, Lagos where I was privileged to have also been tutored by one of the world's masters: Bruce Onobraekpeya.
After secondary school education, I studied Political Science at the University of Benin and during this period I took active interest in playing in the campus band SONYXX for pastime and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring jazz themes as creative exercise.
My present interest in computer art or digital art started during employment with M/S WANGONET an IT organization where I took up employment as Content Development Officer. Here I drew and painted my first work titled Ajah. Other works include Waterside, Fulani Girl, ChequePoint, Iya Ibeji, etc. Comments, responses and encouragement from the management and staff of the company led to exploring and developing a style and technique using the computer.I draw using the mouse tool 100%.This means that my images are neither scanned nor is any form of photography applied.A variety of grahics software is used thereafter to "paint" over the work and create the desired effect.
Others who gave encouragement include: Pastor Wole Osinupebi (an engineer and art lover), Mr. Peacemaker Efebeh (a trained graphic artist), and my wife Chizo.
