Biography
|
|
Prescila Mazzola was born in 1953 in Sao Vicente and has lived and worked in Sao Paulo. In 2001 she left behind a successful business career to dedicate herself to Fine Arts. Today she shares her time between artistic activities, studies and works in the Nonprofit Sector, where she is Financial Director and President of the Technical Projects Commission for the nonprofit organization "Women of the Americas" (Mulheres das Americas).
In 2002 e 2003 took courses of "History of Art", "Art and Literature" and "Painting Materials" amongst others. She already took part in various exhibitions and made her mark in an International exhibition in Paris, in June/2002. She has been member of the Pre-Council of Culture in Pinheiros (important neighbourhood of Sao Paulo). She has works at the stores of the Museum of Modern Art of Sao Paulo (top art museum of Sao Paulo).
Besides having paintings in private collections in Brasil,France and United States, she has works in the collection of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Sao Paulo and at the stores of the Museum of Modern Art of Sao Paulo.
