Biography
Suzanne "Stu" Catalano was born October 31, 1980 in Salinas, California and raised in the rural southern state of Alabama. She has spent much of her life doodling sketches but never really took art seriously until she moved back to California in September of 2003. Since then, the world has been her canvas and she uses oils and acrylics when painting, but has more of a natural knack for drawing with pencils. Most of the artist's subjects are modeled from live women she meets in the real world and brings their sensuality and emotions to light through delicate pencil shadings.

Statement
"I'm truly humbled by words people say when they look at my art. Often times people say 'Ooh' or 'Aah' and then tell me there's no way they could ever create anything like it. But the thing is... anyone can do what I do. I've only been diligently painting and drawing for about a year and a half and trust me, if you saw my original work from a year ago - you'd think a person's arm looked like a macaroni noodle. It takes practice, but definitely doable. It's frustrating when I hear people say they have no artistic talents or little creative ability because the truth is, everyone has an artistic talent. Everyone is an artist of something."
