Statement
|
|
My artworks are a personal response to growing up in Southern California. Hiking in the local mountains and state parks, and observing the architecture in the many neighborhoods of Los Angeles, I have developed a great appreciation for the vivid quality of light in a Mediterranean climate with its strong contrasts and shadows, and a deep awareness of the human impact on nature.
