Laura Morena is an artist from the Great Lakes State (Michigan, USA). Laura Morena's paintings reflect passionate energy through vibrant colors and beautiful texture. She uses thick paint in her brush strokes to capture subjects and environment. Inspired by the works of many great artists (including Picasso, Kahlo, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Kirchner, Munch, Alice Neel) and travel, she explores creative expression in a variety of media. You may find her energy captured in Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Clay, or Paper Mache. College educated, though not in the field of art, she is considered self-taught. Her artworks are identified by the signature "MORENA", usually in the lower left hand corner of paintings.
