Born in Taza (Morocco) on 1954th. Parallel to my studies of medicine at the catholic University in Leuwen (BELGIUM) I followed evening courses at the Superior school Artistic the 75 in Brussels and attended the workshops of Masters Belgian pastellists. Actually I am doctor biologist in Morocco

Statement

Since the beginning of my artistic career, my choice was made on the pastel like process of expression, for the simple reason which I like to paint and draw at the same time, and it is the only technique which combines with perfection the immediate emotion of the feature and the sensuality of the great painting whose, in addition it offers the same aesthetic possibilities. This technique makes it possible to treat topics as varied as the portrait or the landscapes, natures dead... In this gallery I expose some paintings of invoice orientalist, the majority are personal works, and the remainder of the reproductions of fabrics of Masters to show that the pastel does not have anything has to envy the oil-base paint. In my opinion I find that the Pastel of share its brightness and the shimmer of these pale tonalities makes material ideal to restore the effects of the light. I wish you then a good moment of pleasure...
