Biography

As far back as I can remember, photography has always been an interest to me. I have seen many things that were worth shooting but had no way of capturing the moment. I had the pleasure of spending my childhood living on the Blue Ridge Parkway (Fancy Gap, VA). I moved with my mom and brother to Mount Airy, NC (better known as Mayberry, NC) in 1982. I am the middle child of three. Today, I only live about thirty minutes from my home place. Now that I am an adult, I have managed to see some of the United States. I served in the US Army and was fortunate to be stationed in Monterey, CA. I caught some major sunsets over the Monterey Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and while in flight from the West Coast to the East Coast. That was back in 2004. Since I have returned back to Mount Airy, I have got more involved in photography. I have the privilege of getting beautiful sunsets casting behind our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I am very fortunate to live in an environment full of breath taking sceneries that I do.
