 | | Biography | | I am a twenty five year old student at the University of Wisconsin--Green Bay, actively creating art, buying art, and writing about art. My major is gallery/museum practices and my main goal is to organize an exhibition space for regional artists and solidify my own artistic style. I enjoy and pursue figurative and abstract subjects, mostly, but I don't like to put art into categories or have a strict idea in my head about what I think is good art. I trust my eyes and my mind. I won the Curator's Choice award in 1998 at the Rockford Art Museum for my painting, "Fish", and my work has been sold to several private collectors. | | | | Statement | | As a student, I am working hard to consolidate what I have learned into a solid and mature style that incorporates both formal techniques and personal creation and ideas. | | | | Exhibitions | | 1998, Rockford Art Museum, Juried Exhibition
