Biography

|
Emerging self-taught artist, born in Montreal in 1978. Italian origin, now residing on a Greek island in the Agean sea. Her multiculturalism makes her an interesting artist as she succeeds in joining reality and fantasy with a minimalistic yet incisive style. With every painting she creates a small world of colors and situations, always with disarming tenderness and emotional depth, sign of her world conscience and of her innate artistic maturity.

Statement

"The eyes are the window to the soul... among the glares and the stares I try to capture that same sentiment through my subjects' eyes, emotionally transmitting what words cannot". A definite style isn't yet apparent due to continuous exploration, although one cannot deny the freshness and purity of naive art throughout the artist's artwork.
