Light and shapes. That's pretty much all photography is. When you get past the technical stuff, the electronics, and chemicals and computers, all you have is light and shapes. Anyone can take a picture, but the artist can see so much more than what is in the shot. Many times, what's important is what isn't in the shot. I want to make people see things in a totally different way than they would otherwise. I think that's what this is all about. An artist wants to show people the things that WE see. I can look at a person, and see something totally different from what you see. It's impossible for us to fully describe what we see, so our race created art. It allows us to share everything with each other. I feel it is Humankind's greatest achievement, and I'm honored to be a part of it.
