The Wool Dyer
Painting Acrylic
Size: 70 x 50cm
490 GBP
Description:
This is an original painting. Its purpose is to be a reminder of the anonymous work performed by a huge number of people in this world, that make every effort to ensure us a more pleasant life. Here, deep down in an old basement from an Oriental country, a young worker is dyeing wool. The colour of it is red and brilliant in the light that forces its way inside the dark basement. In spite of the acid vapours lifting up from the dyeing bath, the Dyer remains impassible and fully devoted to the final result of his work. It seems that man and the wool are one, and the final outcome can not be anything else that another nice piece of work dedicated to the rest of us .
