Roseann was born in a 1957 Chevy on a foggy Chrismas Eve night. She grew up in Ventura, California and Temple, Texas. Her current home is Austin, Texas but she still considers herself a California girl.
Her interest in Photography started when she was very young. Her father used to take photos of her and her brother and she loved the old camera with the flash bulb that would pop out after doing its duty.
She started taking pictures with an old 110 camera, then moved on to a Polaroid One Step, then up to a Sears-brand version of an AE1 to the only choice in today's world DIGITAL. Now you know what they say "once you go digital, you never go back".
As you can see by her gallery, her images change with her changing moods. At times she uses heavy Photoshop manipulation to get just the look she is aiming for, other times she gets "the" shot right out of the camera.
She is intuitive and uses that skill to do her own thing photographically. She enjoys not only bending the rule of thirds (or any other photographic rules) but breaking them.
