this happens to me many times, to cure my emotional wounds through the art of portraiture. this portrait was one of the medications that set me free from a fatal bruise of mind. she is a friend happens to be a lecturer in my college. i had series of her studies in my sketch pad and some of her photos in my reference archive.i was able to paint her without her knowledge through the juxtaposition of these materials.
