Description: Ancient rock paintings, gothlic and Egyptian images are just a few of the sources that inspire the work. Unique compared to other papermaking techniques I strive to push beyond the typical applications for papermaking and casting. Recycled paper is molded to create paper sculptures using a multi-component mold system. All of these original pieces are made from recycled paper. Each was hand pressed and painted. By doing this it gives the pieces a worn leather, parchment look.

Biography
I grow up here in Tucson Arizona always drawing and reading comic books. I am sure that is where the seed was planted for me. I tried new and different ideas and crafts seeing what work and pleased me. I have been happy doing the pieces on this site and looking at all the different ways people talk to each other through art. I am so glad I can show the world my art and knowing that some of my pieces will travel around the world is a great feeling. I am a 45 year old Hispanic artist born and raised here under the sun of Tucson. I enjoy the desert and all the mountains that surround us here. Hiking and seeing some of the painted rocks first hand is one of the most rewarding things I get doing my art. I am hoping while visiting and viewing the art that you enjoy it and come away with a warm feelind.
