Description: Realistic portrait of a classical renaissance woman painted with acrylics Size: height 75 cm width: 60 cm Medium: Acrylic on canvas The process of this painting started with a basic black underpainting and above that a chalk sketch of the basics features. Then I started to paint in the general wide area colors while noticing composition and outline. Further on I went into the details of the face and wrap. I like in this painting how it reflects a time in art history that is almost long lost. Through this painting I tried to revive a time where emphasis was given to fine arts,detail and realistic coloring.
