JORGE PIZZANELLI
HE IS BORN IN MONTEVIDEO (URUGUAY) IN 1945.
IN 1986 HE BEGINS HIS STUDIES OF DRAWING AND PAINTING WITH THE MASTER HUGO LONGA.
FROM ITS BEGINNINGS, THE IMPRESSIONIST STYLE WAS ITS FAVORITE ONE. THEIR KNOWLEDGE ON THE SAME ONE, ARE INCREASED IN THE DECADA OF 1990, SINCE IT ACCEDES TO HIS DIRECT STUDY.
ITS PAINTING IS CHARACTERIZED BY THE USE OF OIL ON CANVAS APPLIED WITH IMPORTANT TEXTURE, IN THE SEARCH OF THE BEST REPRESENTATION OF THE NATURAL LIGHT.
THE SUBJECTS OF THEIR WORKS PREFERREDLY REFER LANDSCAPES.
AS OF 1987 HE EXPOSES WITH PERMANENT CHARACTER IN PRESTIGIOUS GALERIES OF THE CITY OF MONTEVIDEO AND PUNTA DEL ESTE.
FROM 1990 IT MAKES WITH MULTIPLE SUCCESS PERSONAL SHOWS INSIDE THE REPUBLIC, IN PLACES LIKE COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO, CANELONES, MALDONADO AND OTHERS, BEING HIS WORKS SELECTED FROM THAT DATE TO THE PRESENT BY THE ASSOCIATION OF INFANTILE VILLAGES S.O.S., TO ILLUSTRATE THE CARDS OF CHRISTMAS, DICE HIS CHARACTER AUTOCTONO, REPRESENTATIVE OF THE NATIONAL LANDSCAPE.
IN 1994 HE EXPOSES IN:
THE CITY OF GRAMADO (BRAZIL), FOR THE II WEEK OF CULTURAL INTEGRATION BRAZIL-URUGUAY.
THE CITY OF MONTEVIDEO FOR THE X EXHIBITION OF VISUAL ARTS OF MEMBERS OF DIPLOMATIC BODY, CONSULAR AND OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANISMS, MADE IN ROOM PEDRO FIGARI OF THE M.RR.EE.
IN 1999 EXPOSES A SOLO SHOW IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK (U.S.A.), SUPPORTED BY THE MINISTRY OF OUTER RELATIONS AND THE GENERAL CONSULATE Of URUGUAY IN THIS CITY.
IN 2000 CO- REPRESENTS URUGUAY IN VIII HALL LATIN AMERICAN ART MADE IN MERIDIAN INTERNATIONAL CENTER OF WASHINGTON CITY D.C. (U.S.A.), PARTICIPATING WITH OTHER 18 COUNTRIES OF THE SHOW "IBEROAMERICA LANDSCAPES".
FROM 2001 EXPOSES PERMANENTLY IN THE "CULTURAL URUGUAY FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS" WITH SEAT IN WASHINGTON CITY D.C. (U.S.A.)
DURING 2002 IT EXPOSES IN:
CULTURAL CENTER "SUSONOSHI BUNKA SENTA" CITY OF SUSONO (JAPAN).
