Ever since I can remember, art was a big part of my life. I have been painting seriously for past years and my favorite outlet always has been abstract painting. This is something that always relaxes me, and no matter how big may be the problem that I run in to in my life, when I create I forget about the world and it's just me and the canvas for that moment. I feel the most comfortable using oil primarily because I love the color intensity and the freedom in experimenting with many different tones. Disfigured human faces are typically some, if not the main part of my artwork. In faces, I find the most passion and painting them, I feel completely free to express my own emotions.
Exhibiting my art is always a very rewarding experience for me. Just a thought that people would take few minutes out of their life to enjoy and try to understand the message behind my vibrant paintings, brings me a lot of joy and makes me want to put even more heart into my next piece. My father and my brother, both sculptors, are the most positive influence and reinforcement in all my work. Although I always approached art as more of a passion than a way to make a living, I certainly hope I will always be able to create paintings that depict the beauty that I see around me every day.
