Biography

I'm a farmer's wife, living close to Leeu Gamka. I was born and raised in Prince Albert. After school education I landed up in various occupations searching for my destiny in the corporate world. However, the best thing that happened to me was moving back to where I started life and that was at Prince Albert.
A child's dream to become an artist one day got lost somewhere in my growing up phase. During adulthood it became a "one day I am going to paint". For many years it never happened.
I started to paint with borrowed paint and brushes at the age of 48. Since then I could not stop. Although I have started with flowers, Karoo landscapes are my favourite. Spending time in the veld, taking photos and trying to do them justice with paint and a brush is very fulfilling and good for my soul.
It is with great thankfulness to my Heavenly Father, family and friends who inspired me, that I am offering my work to you.
